Hi Ray
There are 4 methods of adding a new Task to a Project.
1. Use 12/CFT99R (Task Maintenance & Check-out (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/content.php/238-ENTSK01R)) - This method is the slowest as you will have to fill in all the fields manually.
2. Use 15/CFT99R (STRPDM) - Then by using the alternative access (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/content.php/238-ENTSK01R) example provided in the wiki (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/content.php/136-changefit-sn). This is the fastest as all fields are automatically filled for you. All you need to do is choose a project.
3. Use option 3 (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/content.php/158-xrefit-workflow) while using XrefIT. XrefIT integrates into ChangefIT and all fields are automatically filled for you. Again, all you need to do is choose a project.
4. Use the Task Import function in Project Maintenance (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/content.php/237-ENPRO01R) (11/CFT99R). You can optionally import (or ignore) a Task from a signed-off Project.
For future reference, I have copied your post and my answer to your private forum here (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/forumdisplay.php/122-Jarden-Safety-and-Security).
p.s. Don't forget our webcast (http://www.support.ecofitonline.com/showthread.php/709-Webcast) on Friday... it'll be nice to see you there.
