In this presentation, we will be focusing on two major themes, the DeskfIT integration into ChangefIT and the ChangefIT workflow. We all also be providing several Tips & Tricks to make using ChangefIT even easier to use. Questions can be asked during and after the session (in English, German, or Afrikaans).

We will be using Teamviewer for the presentation. A link to the free download of Teamviewer will be provided 15 minutes before the start as well as the connection ID.

The wiki has been updated for ChangefIT v2.34 and the software is now available from the Download Area.

What’s New in v2.34
(released 01 May 2012)

This upgrade is primarily a maintenance upgrade consisting of changes required to ChangefIT for the implementation of DeskfIT v1.12. We have included a few minor changes at the same time.

• Upgrade: Add post number to Project and Task notes
• BugFix: LIB01R does not accept maximum number of libraries for library list
• BugFix: Task duration displays last task's duration when maintaining task
• Upgrade: Include *PGM parameter for DeployfIT workaround
• Upgrade: RGZPFPCT to cater for 0-100% deleted records (previously 1-100%)

There is a workaround in ChangefIT that should cater for most of the requirements that would be supplied in DeployfIT i.e. deploying objects to different environments. There is a few restriction though, the most important of which being that it can only be used on the same LPAR that ChangefIT is used on.
