ECOFIT PURCHASES IBM 9405-520, v6r1 MACHINE
Kulmbach, Germany – 11 July 2009. In a press statement released today, Mr. Kit von Blerk of ECOFIT announced the purchase of a 9405-520, IBM i v6r1 machine, personally autographed by Dr. Frank Soltis. "The new machine was purchased to supplement our existing 9406-150 (v5r2) and 9406-270 (v5r3) machines."
According to von Blerk, “Customers requested that our ChangefIT software be made available on the latest IBM software release. With this purchase we will now able to service our customers on legacy IBM technology as well as cutting edge technology”. Von Blerk added, “The new technology will enable us to improve ChangefIT functionality by unlocking the rich new features of v6r1 and sustain our continued product growth and development for the foreseeable future.”
